As Production / Operations Manager, you will oversee recruitment, assembly, factory layout, product testing, and warehouse operations-ensuring optimum quality, and safety at every stage.,

• Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and control the manufacturing processes from container unloading to reloading to ensure products are shipped on time and within budget.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of assembly workers and forklift drivers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency. Utilise lean manufacturing techniques and best practices to optimize workflow.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of container parts, raw materials and finished products, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, & service levels including key metrics and KPIs., Stiltz Limited is the sole supplier, manufacturer and installer of the Stiltz lift - the most innovative, unique and useful homelift on the market.
  
  Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Proven production / operations / warehouse management experience, be fully proficient in assembly and quality control processes, lean manufacturing principles, and industry safety regulations.
• Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems and Excel).
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and analysing manufacturing BOMs and associated cost structures.
• Knowledge of SMT would be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced production environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and all levels.
  
  We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations / Production Manager to shape and drive the creation of Stiltz Homelifts newest production facility to be based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
