Full Job Description
- Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
- Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required.
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
- Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.
Good communication and team working skills. - Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
Starting salary for Warehouse Operative is £28,pa, based on working 42.75 hours a week on an 8-week rolling rota basis, with 2 early shifts and 6 lates. - Hours of work are 08 : 00hrs - 18 : 00hrs on the early shift and 15 : 30hrs - 01 : 30hrs on the late shift, working 5 shifts in 7, including weekends.
