Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire, UK, SY1 1

Job Type: Full-time, long term

Shift: Day shift only, Monday to Friday

Pay: £13.00 ph. paid weekly

Hours: 50 hours a week - 06:00 till 18:00 with 1 h unpaid break

Location details: Shawbury (between Shrewsbury & Market Drayton)

Duties

Operate forklift trucks safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas.

Transporting stock on/ off lorries inside and outside

Ensure equipment, materials and ingredients enter production areas as per production schedule

Order pick packaging and dried goods by hand

Stock rotation and stock management

Move goods across site

Assist with handballing goods and moving pallets with EPT and FLT

Completing stock control, stock transport and stock rotation within cold, cool environment

Paper based and data entry of all goods in & out

Final inspection of goods out and recording traceability

Necessary Requirements

Valid FLT Counter Balance FLT License & at least 1 year FLT experience

Warehousing and stock control experience

Strong organizational skills and ability to load and upload up to 25kg

Happy to work inside food factory and outside when required within yard

Food handling experience

Full time, long term availability

Own transport in form of reliable motor vehicle

Due to rural location you must have your own transport as public transport does not operate in area
