Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire, UK, SY1 1

Job Type: Full-time, long term

Shift: Day shift only, Monday to Friday

Pay: £13.00 ph. paid weekly

Hours: 50 hours a week - 06:00 till 18:00 with 1 h unpaid break

Location details: Shawbury (between Shrewsbury & Market Drayton)

Duties

• Operate forklift trucks safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas.


• Transporting stock on/ off lorries inside and outside


• Ensure equipment, materials and ingredients enter production areas as per production schedule


• Order pick packaging and dried goods by hand


• Stock rotation and stock management


• Move goods across site


• Assist with handballing goods and moving pallets with EPT and FLT


• Completing stock control, stock transport and stock rotation within cold, cool environment


• Paper based and data entry of all goods in & out


• Final inspection of goods out and recording traceability

Necessary Requirements

• Valid FLT Counter Balance FLT License & at least 1 year FLT experience


• Warehousing and stock control experience


• Strong organizational skills and ability to load and upload up to 25kg


• Happy to work inside food factory and outside when required within yard


• Food handling experience


• Full time, long term availability


• Own transport in form of reliable motor vehicle


• Due to rural location you must have your own transport as public transport does not operate in area
