Full Job Description

  • You'll get to work with a variety of tools, especially Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and the Dataverse.
  • Every day brings a new challenge - you'll help design and build tools that automate tasks, improve processes, and give people the information they need.
  • You'll be supported to learn and grow, with a strong focus on development and learning from each other.
  • You'll be joining a flexible, inclusive workplace where your ideas are valued and your wellbeing matters.
  • We're all about creating positive change - the work you do will make a real difference.
  • Where does this role fit in? This role sits within our Digital, Tech, and Change Team. You'll be part of a team of developers, analysts and testers who work closely together - and with the wider business - to build useful, user friendly software. We believe in working as one team, learning from each other, and supporting every voice to be heard.

We're looking for a Software Developer who enjoys solving problems, creating useful tools, and helping people through technology. You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team that uses Microsoft Power Platform to design, build, and maintain applications that make life easier for our colleagues and customers.,
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate (1+ years' experience).
  • Able to write code in C#, JavaScript and SQL - you don't need to be an expert in everything, but some knowledge is important.
  • A problem solver who enjoys finding solutions and working through challenges logically.
  • Able to analyse user requirements and translate them into software design specifications.
  • Someone who cares about users - we want our software to be helpful, reliable and easy to use.
  • Familiar with testing, source control (like Git), and agile ways of working.
  • A clear communicator - able to work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Willing to learn, grow, and adapt as we do.

Pobl Group is one of Wales' leading housing, care, and support providers, dedicated to creating positive change in communities. Recently merged with Linc Cymru, bringing together our expertise to strengthen our impact and enhance services across Wales.
  • Our Tech & Data team plays a key role in this transformation. We are passionate about using technology to improve lives- streamlining processes, connecting systems, and ensuring our data works smarter for our people and communities. As part of this team, you'll contribute to an exciting period of innovation, helping to shape the future of digital solutions at Pobl.

  • This salary for this role is fixed at £48,453 for a 37 hour, full time, permanent position
  • Flexible working policies - this role would be both home and office based with regular time spent in our Newport, Cardiff and Swansea office.
  • 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays , rising to 30 days with length of service
  • Pension scheme
  • Sick Pay
  • Colleague Referral Scheme (£250 per referral)
  • Time for Talking - a free counselling service
  • Health Cash Plan
