Full Job Description
Underwriter required by prestigious client, based near Cirencester. The successful Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing applications, considering risk and agreeing terms accordingly., Main Duties: Underwriter
- Reviewing allocated applications, considering risk factors and formulating decisions on terms.
- Managing policy changes and exclusions.
- Processing claims misrepresentation cases.
- Responding to enquiries by telephone and email.
- Referral of cases when required.
- Carrying out analysis and producing reports.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of business processes.
A background within a similar role gained within a Financial Services Environment. - Excellent communication skills, with a consultative approach and the ability to influence others.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Able to make strategic business decisions.
- A strong understanding of the relevant legislation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
