Full Job Description

To provide evidence-based assessment and treatment of patients with a range of neurological conditions, with a primary focus on Vestibular problems. To autonomously manage a mixed caseload of patients with a primary neurology diagnosis/condition. To provide community-based interventions across West Suffolk with support of the community neurology lead Physiotherapist. To support/advise/signpost colleagues who are managing complex patients with neurological conditions across settings. To work in partnership with the team lead with the daily management of the neurological physiotherapy service To support and educate patients in order to facilitate the adoption of self-management strategies. To communicate complex information. To assist the Team Leaders in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy Service provided to patients within the team, on a day-to-day basis. To foster a positive team ethos, promoting, supporting, and developing the service, staff, and
students to enable a safe and healthy working environment To ensure staff and students are supported to maximise development opportunities To maintain an active professional development portfolio and to continue with on-going learning
