Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team at [Insert School Name]. This role plays a vital part in helping us provide healthy and nutritious meals to our students in a safe and welcoming environment.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, washing up, and assisting the cook and wider catering team. You will be expected to follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. A friendly and approachable manner, the ability to work well in a team, and a willingness to undergo a DBS check are essential.
The working hours are Monday to Friday - 10:00am to 3:00pm, term time only. Salary will be between £12.21 per hour.
