A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day to day challenges in providing an effective transport plan.Working hours: 4on 4off nightsSalary: Up to £33,000 per annum DOEKey Duties of a Transport Planner:

• Planning daily workload of fleet: vehicles based on site and out bases
• Reporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that may arise
• Planning collections per day on a time critical basis
• Maintaining and exceeding agreed KPI's
• Proactively look for continuous improvements
• Be able to make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescale
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business particularly at peak periods during the year
• Efficiently utilise the Culina Group network in support Stobart's when volumes dictate.
  
  Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook.
• CPC Desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
• Customer focus on delivery performance.
• Commercially and Financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results.
• Experience of using a TMS system.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical and excel capability across standard formulas.
