Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturer working on a three shift pattern (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am) shift pattern. Candidates should be electrically biased and ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications, 17th / 18th Edition wiring regulations, along with some knowledge of PLCs (Ideally Siemens S7). Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team that covers all aspects of plant maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to provide effective maintenance support within a high-volume manufacturing environment where continuous production is paramount.

Ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional and safe condition
Providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repairs (mechanical and electrical)
Performing daily and weekly planned maintenance activities
Ensuring planned preventive maintenance of all machinery is carried out
Contributing to TPM processes
Supporting new installations required to improve performance
