Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturer working on a three shift pattern (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am) shift pattern. Candidates should be electrically biased and ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications, 17th / 18th Edition wiring regulations, along with some knowledge of PLCs (Ideally Siemens S7). Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team that covers all aspects of plant maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to provide effective maintenance support within a high-volume manufacturing environment where continuous production is paramount.
- Ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional and safe condition
- Providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repairs (mechanical and electrical)
- Performing daily and weekly planned maintenance activities
- Ensuring planned preventive maintenance of all machinery is carried out
- Contributing to TPM processes
- Supporting new installations required to improve performance
