Behaviour Support Assistant - Liverpool Secondary School (Mainstream Setting)Milk Education are proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Liverpool to appoint a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated pastoral team and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.You will play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both academically and emotionally. - Mentoring students and supporting them with behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
- Helping students set and achieve personal and academic goals
- Supporting teaching staff with the delivery of lessons and learning interventions
- Working closely with the school's pastoral and SEN teams to mentor progress and share strategies
- Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult, offering guidance and encouragement
Experience supporting young people in a school or youth setting is desirable - A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to behaviour
- Able to build rapport quickly and earn the trust of students
