Full Job Description

- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND, adapting lessons and resources to their individual needs.
- Use your exceptional communication skills to liaise with the class teacher, SENCO, therapists, and parents.
- Engage creatively and proactively to build trust and engagement, fostering progress academically and socially.
- Maintain precise records of development, adjusting supports to ensure maximum impact.
- Join the wider team in St. Albans to contribute to SEND planning, reviews, and strategy sessions.
Must Have: Proven experience in a 1:1 SEND support role, particularly with pupils with Autism, SEMH, MLD, or similar needs. - Excellent communication: Clear verbal and written communication with colleagues, professionals, and families.
- Proactive & Creative Approach: Instinctively responsive and innovative in pupil engagement.
- Collaborative Spirit: Able to work within a team and support the school's ethos in St. Albans.
- Ideally based in or able to commute easily to St. Albans.
