Class 2 HGV Driver Days/Evenings
Location: Wootton, Isle of Wight, UK, PO33 4

The Best Connection have fantastic on-going vacancies and are currently looking for Full Time Class 2 Drivers for a logistics company based in Bedford. Drivers will be responsible for delivering goods across the UK.
Details:
- Drivers will be required to undertake an assessment prior to placement
- Monday to Friday 12.00pm - 18:00pm start
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity following successful trial period
Rates of Pay:
- Basic pay rate: £20.00 per hour
- Bank holiday pay rate: £27.00 per hour
LGV/HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from the customers' premises or other locations
- Delivering products on behalf of the customer
- Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided if required)
- Handballing cages and pallets
- Loading and unloading
- Good communication and customer service
Requirements of the LGV/HGV Class 2 Driver:
- A full UK Cat C licence (essential)
- 2 Years Cat C experience required
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No previous disqualifications (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN)
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations
