Full Job Description
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- This will involve internal trunking from Heathfield to various other Gregory depots around the Southwest of England.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Checking freight against the manifest at each depot visit.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. - Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
Competitive Salary: £40,198 to £43,864pa, depending on hours worked. - Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 21:00hrs.
