As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• This will involve internal trunking from Heathfield to various other Gregory depots around the Southwest of England.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
• Checking freight against the manifest at each depot visit.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
  
  Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
  
  Competitive Salary: £40,198 to £43,864pa, depending on hours worked.
• Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 21:00hrs.
