Full Job Description
The Trust currently has 5 CT scanners (Siemens and Canon). The department also has CR/DR systems, integrated with Carestream PACS and encompass a comprehensive range of equipment including DR general and dental rooms, flat plate interventional room, CT, MRI, Breast Imaging, DXA Scanning, Nuclear Medicine, flat plate image intensifiers and a wide range of Ultrasound services. There is also a dedicated recovery area for interventional cases in Radiology. We are recruiting for a Specialist Radiographer CT who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. You will possess good CT experience and a desire to impart their skills and knowledge to other radiographers in the team. You are based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage and will perform a range of CT examinations and participate in a cross-site rota with our sister site at the new QEII Hospital, Welwyn Garden City. In addition to the general and emergency CT workload, there are cardiac CT scanning lists on our newly installed Siemens Force and a monthly CT cryotheraphy list.
