You will be able to help us with . . .Assisting with habitat creation, enhancement and management tasks, including -

• woodland management.

• tree nursery care.
• wildlife-friendly gardening.
Assisting with wildlife and habitat monitoring activities, including -
• butterfly surveys.
• botanical surveys.
• nestbox making.

• You will gain experience in habitat management, conservation activities and wildlife survey skills.

No skills are necessary, but prior knowledge and experience would be very welcome. Full training will be given, and after completing a 1-day induction, you will be a true ambassador for The Donkey Sanctuary.We welcome applications from all who would be able to give the gift of time for one or two days a week, usually Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 10.00-16.00.Come and join our family!The Donkey Sanctuary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people (children and adults), and expects all staff and volunteers to undertake this commitment.
