Do you have experience managing large fleet and risk reduction programmes? AXA Commercial are looking for a mid-corporate business resilience manager to manage, advise and influence delivery of a profitable underwriting account through ownership of complex risk management procedures and industry best practice initiatives, leading to positive customer engagement. You'll lead and manage engagement with mid-corporate customers and deliver through conducting national complex on site surveys. You'll partner with the wider team via assessment of the largest exposures across commercial mid-corporate insurance policyholders. At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home or if in a field-based role, you'll travel to visit offices or client sites as required. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. What you'll be doing:

  • Complex risk identification, management and mitigation by conducting on site and remote surveys of complex and large exposures by sum insured across policyholders.
  • Deliver clear, articulate and industry best practice complex risk assessment reports to identify and reduce risk exposures to AXA Commercial and its customers.
  • Influence senior underwriters, utilizing complex technical risk and underwriting knowledge, to ensure risk identification and mitigation are in line with risk control and underwriting strategy.
  • Challenge underwriters and recommend actions to risks.
  • Build and deliver utilising the wider Business Resilience team client risk management programmes engaging with stakeholders.

  • Extensive experience managing large fleet and risk reduction programmes - essential.
  • Multi-site operations experience - essential.
  • Experience of motor fleet surveying, with understanding of associated underwriting practice.
  • Experience of dealing with mid to large customers, or more technical challenging risks.
  • Thorough knowledge of risk identification, assessment and improvement techniques and standards.
  • Thorough understanding of national and international C&U regulations, Operator Licencing and health and safety principles.
  • Presentation, negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to write clear reports of complex risks.
  • CPC in Road Haulage, MIRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), NEBOSH National General Certificate- desirable.
  • As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
