Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Manage general ledger activity and balance sheet reconciliations
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to senior stakeholders
Produce cash-flow reporting and support treasury processes
Build financial models and scenario analyses
Support audits and drive process improvements

ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualification
Demonstrable experience in a similar role in accounting, finance, or analysis
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel and excellent analytical skills
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
Confident communicator able to translate finance for non-finance teams
Strong stakeholder engagement
Rail or infrastructure sector experience
Exposure to automation, digital finance tools, or system enhancements
Strong commercial awareness
