Full Job Description
- Provide expert corporate tax advisory services to clients within the financial services sector
- Oversee corporate tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
- Advise on tax-efficient structuring, transactions, and planning opportunities for financial services businesses.
- Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact for corporate tax matters.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in financial services tax legislation and communicate implications to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver holistic solutions, including audit and VAT teams.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality output.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and attending client pitches.
A professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). - Significant experience in corporate tax within the financial services sector, ideally gained in a professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and its application to financial services.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- Experience with business development activities is highly desirable.
