Full Job Description

You will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and financial control of business divisions within Frontier alongside overseeing the company s capex process and providing financial support to the department and operational management, As a Senior Operations Accountant your role will involve:

  • Being responsible for accounting, reporting and financial control of product lines within the business (to include monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, annual budget and forecasting processes plus any ad hoc product line support requirements)
  • Actively contributing to the development of the group s capex processes and controls
  • Signing off on group wide capex requests
  • Being responsible for accounting and reporting of depreciation and capex spend (to include annual budget and forecasting)
  • Contributing to the maintenance of the fixed asset register (to include disposals, additions & asset validation)
  • Developing post-project evaluations of significant Capex spend
  • Actively contributing to the development of the department by identifying and implementing improved processes or controls
  • Providing support to business divisions by offering value added innovative solutions to support continual changing business needs
  • Providing Support to the finance department by offering value added input to ongoing department development
  • General support to financial administration functions, to include Invoice and payment approvals

    Qualified Accountant with a good level of working experience in accounting is essential
  • Experience in an operational environment is desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
  • Possess an assured and professional manner, with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to build strong working relationships with a varied level of management across the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to direct and manage others to achieve personal and business objectives
  • Adaptable to the demands of a growing, diverse business
  • Self-motivated and capable of working on own initiative
  • Focused on using skills, training and experience to the benefit of the customer
