Please note: Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence and own vehicle is essential (travel expenses are paid for mileage, but not commuting).
Assisting with the development and maintenance of the local volunteer delivery network.
Joining councillors, candidates and volunteers out on the doorsteps to do delivery, surveying and canvassing.
Recruiting, developing and regularly communicating with volunteers.
Assisting with the literature output from production to distribution, including delivering literature.
Assisting with the delivery of a programme of doorstep and telephone voter contacts to mutually agreed targets.
Retain records and information confidentially and in line with the data protection legislation.
Undertake such training as is required and recommended to develop and update the required skills.
Undertake any other such duties as the line manager may require to further support campaigning and organisation.

The successful candidate will be hard working, flexible, organised, pragmatic and politically astute. They will ideally have experience of working in a busy and fast paced environment. They will be willing and able to support the local party administratively and logistically and be willing and able to work with both paid staff members and volunteers.

Salary: £26,039 per annum, plus a potential for reward and recognition payment.
