Full Job Description
The Bereavement Services Team are looking for an organised person to support them in providing a sensitive, compassionate and efficient burial, cremation and memorial service. You will be based at Rainsbrook Crematorium in Rugby and will be responsible for ensuring that all cremations are carried out with dignity and respect and in accordance with current regulations. This is a varied role where you'll be undertaking a wide range of tasks including grounds maintenance, memorial safety checks, cremating, chapel duties and some administration tasks The role will require you to be able to work additional hours dictated by the needs of the service, which will include some Saturday mornings and weekday evenings
Do you have a caring and sympathetic nature to deal with bereaved families at a sensitive time, are you able to work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that the highest standards of care are achieved? We're looking for a flexible, well-motivated self-starter who possesses excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to bereaved families. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage however all relevant training will be provided to the successful applicant. Please note that the position requires a good level of physical fitness and a Full UK Driving License.
