Introduction

Tetra Tech is looking for an Apprentice to join our Geo-environmental Team, the role can be based in Bristol or Cardiff. The position will suit someone with a real interest in geology and contaminated land who enjoys a balance of office and site works and travelling.

What You'll Do

You’ll be working both in the office and site-based activities that could include:

Site based environmental monitoring such as water and soil sampling
Site based support for our ground investigation projects
Preparing information and undertaking assessments to support environmental desk study appraisals and subsequent assessments
Environmental data entry and management, becoming familiar with industry data formats including software packages for the management of geotechnical and Geo-environmental data
Geological appraisal
Working individually (with supervision) or as part of a site team
Helping prepare factual reports

Training Outcome

Successful completion of this course will enable you to confidently advance in this industry. You could progress your skills further by training as a chartered geologist/scientist.
