As our Outdoor Education Teacher, you will take the lead in delivering high-quality outdoor learning experiences that promote confidence, independence and teamwork. You'll play a vital role in supporting both the academic and personal development of our pupils. You will:

Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging outdoor education sessions
Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress
Support children with a range of special educational needs
Contribute to a broad and balanced curriculum, including teaching other subjects where required
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Use local outdoor environments and facilities to enrich learning experiences
Support pupils to develop life skills, resilience and independence

Essential:
A passion for outdoor learning and education
Experience working with children or young people, ideally those with SEN
Strong understanding of health & safety and risk assessment in outdoor settings
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive learning activities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Lowland Leader Award
Hill and Moorland Leader Award
Experience of leading or delivering the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE)
