We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and detail-focused SEND Administrator to join our dedicated team. Working closely with the SENDCo and Clinical team, you'll play an important part in keeping SEND processes running smoothly, ensuring key documentation is accurate, deadlines are met and colleagues, families and professionals receive clear and timely communication. • Taking accurate meeting minutes, communicating actions and following up on progress.
  • Managing SEND records, email communication, templates, forms and resources.
  • Helping new education colleagues understand relevant administrative processes.

You'll be someone who can juggle competing priorities without losing your eye for detail. You'll have a calm, approachable manner, strong people skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ideally you'll have:
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a school or education setting.
  • Knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) would be an advantage.
  • Good literacy and numeracy, with at least five GCSEs above grade C including English and Maths, or relevant administrative experience/qualifications.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • An understanding of school procedures and safeguarding, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the Aurora Group is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
