The ideal candidate must have the following:

Proven experience in SEND curriculum leadership within FE or a similar setting with successful proven track of management experience.
Demonstrable experience of providing strategic leadership for SEND / Inclusive Learning provision within post-16 education.
Significant experience in designing, sequencing, and reviewing student-centred SEND curricula.
Ability to develop ambitious, accessible programmes aligned to progression into employment, further study, and independent living.
Expertise in promoting high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across SEND provision.
Experience of overseeing and supporting effective delivery of English and maths for SEND learners in collaboration with cross-college teams.
Substantial experience of line-managing teaching and support staff within SEND or Inclusive Learning.
Experience leading CPD, coaching, and performance management to develop inclusive teaching practice.
Experience leading self-assessment processes and quality improvement planning within SEND provision.
