Set and enforce the necessary safety and engineering standards to ensure the safe and productive operation of assets
Manage and lead one of the electrical teams at Boulby Mine, providing coaching, guidance and support to electrical staff. Set the standard both technically and professionally, encouraging the required behaviours within their area of responsibility.
Ensure that maintenance strategies are kept up to date and that they are effective with respect to securing asset safety and reliability.
Continually identify new technologies and practices that may improve the operation of the business and to implement these as appropriate
Identify & implement projects to improve operations and manage the risk associated with electrical equipment.
Submit capital applications for projects and support the implementation of these where required ensuring they are executed in a professional manner and that the necessary processes are in place to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, financial and time-related requirements over the entire project life-cycle., Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact?

Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
Chartered Engineer status or working towards
Comprehensive knowledge of low voltage electrical equipment including control & automation equipment associated with conveyor systems
Understanding of the maintenance and operation of high voltage systems
Extensive knowledge of engineering maintenance techniques to improve machine reliability
