Full Job Description
The role will include:
Using high level assessment and formulation skills.
Using psychological models and theories alongside diagnostic criteria to understand a childs presentation.
Using observation and activity based interactions.
Using formal testing measures such as ADOS, cognitive assessments, QB test to better understand a childs presentation.
Supervision of assistant psychologists and other team members.
Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings.
The post holder will also have the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of the service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our well established multi agency Neurodevelopmental Assessment Teams.
The team currently offers evidence based diagnostic assessments in line with NICE guidance to children and young people under 18 where there are concerns regarding Autism Spectrum Conditions or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
This post would suit those who have an interest in neurodiversity, love using assessment and observation skills to formulate complex presentations, enjoy working with children and young people and within a multidisciplinary team.
The post provides an opportunity to use skills in trauma informed assessment and formulation alongside diagnostic assessment tools and criteria. There are also opportunities to develop skills in supervision, leadership, research, teaching and training and service development.
