To provide efficient, sensitive, and well-organised administrative support to the BLAST (Building lives after stroke team) Support Worker, helping ensure stroke survivors and their families receive timely, coordinated, and person-centred support., 1. Administrative Support

Manage diaries, appointments, and scheduling for the BLAST Support Worker
Prepare correspondence, reports, and individual case-related documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service users
Handle incoming calls, emails, and referrals, responding or directing as appropriate
Act as a first point of contact for stroke survivors, carers, and professionals
Support the referral process, ensuring all required information is collected and recorded
Arrange & send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up communications
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
Input and update data on both internal and external systems and databases in line with funding criteria
Support monitoring and reporting requirements (e.g., outcomes, activity levels, support plan data)
Assist with audits and data quality checks
Arrange meetings, including booking venues, hubs or virtual platforms
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track actions
Support organisation of support groups, awareness events, or training sessions
Maintain supplies of information packs and resources for Stroke survivors
Ensure materials are up to date and accessible
Support distribution of information to service users and stakeholders
Liaise with healthcare professionals, community organisations, and internal teams when required in order to support the BLAST support worker.
Support communication between the BLAST Support Worker and external partners
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
