Full Job Description
The candidate will be required to assist in the provision of OT for patients following assessment by an Occupational Therapist, under their guidance and supervision. They are expected to liaise with clients, carers and external agencies regularly, therefore require excellent communication skills. They should demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a busy environment and be able to manage their workload flexibly to meet the demands of the service.
The service offers structured Personal Development Review and Supervision and actively promotes Continued Professional Development through in-service and other training. For further information regarding the post, please email kristina.gilbert@swft.nhs.uk
Main duties of the job
To assist in the provision of an effective service delivery within the speciality.
To provide agreed interventions within the service speciality area under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
To follow the recognised professional standards, the agreed therapy pathway and best practice in your designated area of speciality under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
