Have an ability to teach Music in a way in which keeps students engaged and stimulated.
Have a strong understanding of the use of music technology in the classroom.
Be prepared to make a substantial contribution to the broad and extensive extra-curricular programme in the department and have an ability to motivate and encourage participation.
Be confident in teaching across all key stages, including GCSE (essential) and A Level Music (preferable - there may be the opportunity to teach some A Level Music Technology but these skills are not essential).
Be either an experienced or newly-qualified teacher
