The team work on supporting clients on complex consenting of projects, notably in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Examples of the work types include:

Promoting and supporting clients on Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects.
Providing advice and strategic support on the compulsory purchase of land rights for energy projects
Advising on Environmental Impact and Habitats Assessments related to major projects
Drafting and negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements
Undertaking planning appeal work on energy and infrastructure projects, including advocacy at hearings
Advising and supporting clients on judicial reviews in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court
Undertaking tribunal work on compulsory purchase compensation claims, You will have gained experience of a wide range of Planning matters at a well-respected practice. You will be highly motivated and interested in getting involved in a broad range of development work. Due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, we are looking for an Associate lawyer, although we will consider candidates with more or less experience.
