Assist in the preparation of Mental Health Tribunal cases
Draft legal documents, applications, correspondence and witness statements
Interview clients and witnesses
Review expert reports and supporting evidence
Prepare hearing files and tribunal bundles
Support clients throughout the tribunal process
Maintain Legal Aid Agency compliance requirements
Manage files, diaries and time recording
Deliver exceptional client care
Work towards Mental Health Panel Accreditation where applicable

You will support clients through Mental Health Tribunal proceedings, helping vulnerable individuals access legal advice and representation while developing your legal knowledge, advocacy skills, and case management experience.
Law Degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
LPC, SQE, or equivalent legal training completed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Empathetic, professional and resilient approach when working with vulnerable clients
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Mental Health Panel Accreditation
Experience in Mental Health Law
Experience of Mental Health Tribunal proceedings
Knowledge of Legal Aid Agency requirements
Experience working with vulnerable individuals
