Full Job Description

We are seeking a Turkish Interpreter to assist our Neighbourhoods service in Woodberry Down Estate, Hackney N4. Needed for 8 hours per week at our advice surgeries which are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2-6pm.

The role requires someone to be able to translate and provide advice around housing and regeneration so experience in this area would be beneficial to be able to understand terminology and translate into Turkish. You should have experience of undertaking interpretation and translation work, with an in-depth knowledge of Turkish. Along with experience in giving advice and information on culture, language and related issues.

Our neighbourhoods team provides advice and support to residents living on social housing estates across London which are going through the process of regeneration by working in partnership with them and building individual and community capacity to influence change

Ideally suited for someone who is self-employed, paid monthly at £25 per hour.
