    If you are thinking of a career as a patent attorney and have a strong biotechnology or biochemistry background (to at least degree level, minimum of a 2:1), then we want to hear from you. We are seeking candidates with deep knowledge across life sciences, an interest in next generation therapeutics and the ability to work out of either our London Office or Leeds Office.   • A strong academic background to at least 2:1 degree level, in biotechnology, biochemistry or similar subject. A PhD or relevant industrial experience would be advantageous.
  • A deep understanding of biotech including CRISPR, plant biology and genetics, cell and molecular biology, antibody engineering and immunology plus a good understanding of organic chemistry.
  • An interest in and enthusiasm for science and technology.
  • Good written and oral communication skills that can be adapted for clients from a wide variety of educational and commercial backgrounds.
  • The ability to make confident judgement calls based on information provided
  • A good eye for detail and accuracy.
