Tech Risk and Controls Lead - Vice President

As a Tech Risk & Controls Lead in Infrastructure Platforms, Cloud Foundational Services, you will be responsible for identifying, and mitigating compliance and operational risks in line with the firm's standards. You will manage regulatory engagements, Audit RFIs and review regulations related to Public cloud that may impact the firm . They will also be responsible for ensuring the technology solutions and platforms meet the regulatory requirements in the regions/countries they are deployed .You will also provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to technology-aligned process owners, ensuring that implemented controls are operating effectively and in compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards. By partnering with various stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, location Tech Risk and Controls and Regulators, you will contribute to the reporting of a comprehensive view of technology risk posture and its impact on the business. Your advanced knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and theories will enable you to drive innovative solutions and effectively manage a diverse team in a dynamic and evolving risk landscape.,

• Work with the firmwide regulatory engagement team, TCOE and Audit; and be the contact for responding to RFIs related to Cloud Foundational Services
• Perform impact analysis on new/change in regulatory requirements impacting public cloud
• Liaise with GT regulatory assessment team to perform and track self initiated assessments and certifications
• Understand and advise how the Public Cloud issues in technology are impacting the Lines of Business and any specific location regulatory expectations
• Understand technology policy , standards and controls relevant for public cloud
• Proactively monitor and evaluate control effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to strengthen risk posture and regulatory compliance
• Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to streamline recurring control testing and issue/action-plan management routines, ensuring human review and alignment to auditability and regulatory expectations
• Ensure effective identification, quantification, communication, and management of technology risk, focusing on root cause analysis and resolution recommendations
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate synthesis of risk/control evidence and draft executive-ready reporting, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements
• Develop and maintain robust relationships, becoming a trusted partner with Cloud Foundational Services (CFS) technologists, assessments teams, and data officers to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and progress toward shared goals
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
• Demonstrable experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of industry standards
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• A strong understanding of risk and controls in the firm, as well as a broader understanding regulatory requirements and responding to regulatory queries.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their technology issues and coordinate response across various parties
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technology risk and controls workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to security, auditability, and regulatory expectations.
