Street Scene Operative

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in South Staffordshire to assist with the appointment of a Street Scene Operative, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The Street Scene Operative will support the Fleet and Street Scene team in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented public spaces across the borough. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start, involving outdoor operational duties and depot-based working.,

• Carry out street cleansing and environmental maintenance duties.
• Support waste, litter, and public realm operations as directed.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials where required.
• Operate safely in outdoor environments and public spaces.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work effectively as part of the Street Scene team to meet daily operational targets.
• Report hazards, defects, or issues encountered during duties.
  
  Full UK Driving Licence with C1 entitlement (mandatory).
• Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning starts.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Previous experience in street scene, cleansing, waste, environmental services, or similar operational work
