Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the South London Mental Health and Community Partnership (SLP) as a Contracts and Commissioning Manager. The post holder will work as part of the SLP Commissioning and Contracting team in delivering an effective service supporting the South London Partnership (SLP) to commission high quality mental health services. The post holder will manage a portfolio of contracts and will manage the interface with providers, ICBs/ICSs with regards to all aspects of contract and performance management and act as the interface for the provider in all aspects of supplier relationship management. The post holder will report to the SLP Head of Contracts and Commissioning., The post holder will manage a portfolio of contracts across the Provider Collaboratives (Adult Secure, CAMHS, Perinatal and Eating Disorders) and the Complex Care Programme and will manage the interface with providers, ICBs/ICSs/Local Authorities with regards to all aspects of contract and performance management and act as the interface for the provider in all aspects of supplier relationship management.
The post holder will work with stakeholders across the SLP to support the on-going development and evaluation of Provider Collaboratives and the Complex Care Programme.
The post holder will also review compliance with standards in service specifications, CQUINs, quality dashboards, risk indicators and expected outcomes to monitor effective delivery of care based on these standards across a portfolio of services.
The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
