Full Job Description
Be the senior professional for planning enforcement in Erewash. Take the lead on issuing enforcement notices, seeking to uphold notices on appeal, and providing evidence of breach of notices in court. Provide guidance and advice to the Planning Enforcement Officer and the Enforcement Assistant.
We're looking for someone who is:
- A local government professional, committed to high standards of integrity and probity.
- A planning practitioner, with experience of making planning judgements and defending them at appeal. You will need to have detailed knowledge of current planning legislation, hold a Diploma or Degree in Town Planning (or relevant equivalent) and preferably be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute., Disability Confident About Disability Confident A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer.
