Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for Physiotherapists with proven clinical and interpersonal skills to join one of the largest Respiratory physiotherapy teams in the UK. Successful candidates will join the Heart Lung and Critical Care clinical group respiratory physiotherapy rotational scheme.

You will gain experience treating a wide variety of clinical conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop both your clinical and non-clinical skills including appraisal and supervision of junior staff and students, participating in projects contributing to service development and delivery of training programmes and teaching both within the trust and our partner organisations.

Staff need to be prepared to participate in any of the rotations within the rotational scheme and on call. You will be expected to embrace the departments equity, inclusion and diversity working ethos., To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to inpatients and specialist clinics, within the Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust. This post is part of a 6, occasional 12 monthly rotation scheme, across both sites of Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust in the following areas:

Cardiac & Surgery, Critical Care, Medical, Lane Fox Ventilation and Weaning Unit, Lane Fox outreach, Integrated Respiratory Team, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Older Persons Unit Medical, Head & Neck Surgery, Oncology in and out patients, Respiratory outpatients.

Applicants would manage their own case load, be responsible for their clinical governance and development while being supported by the wider respiratory team.
