Retail Manager - Norwich

As our Retail Manager, you'll play an important part in helping people enjoy their day. And you'll be generating crucial funds for the National Trust to invest in protecting and caring for places, so people and nature can thrive. In return, we'll give you the chance to be creative and give you the support and tools you need to build your career., Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll be leading a small team of 5+ retail assistants and 10+ retail volunteers. You'll be part of the leadership team at Blickling Hall and will work closely with the General Manager and the wider team, actively involved in making decisions that affect the whole place.

Hours: This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 1950 hours per year, and on average, you'll work 37.5 hours per week but again, this will be flexible depending on operational demand. Salary: 29,367 per annum Duration: Permanent,

• an experienced retail manager, familiar with standard processes (including selling, merchandising, space management, stock control, risk)
• skilled in coaching, developing and leading teams
• experienced in managing rotas and recruiting staff
• adept at getting maximum sales out of a retail outlet
