Full Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Composites team, helping ensure aerospace components are manufactured and delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will be responsible for inspecting products, processes, and documentation, identifying non-conformances, and supporting a strong "Stop at First Defect" culture across the business. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams, you'll play a vital role in ensuring only fully compliant products reach our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of composite components.
- Validate inspection activities against engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify, contain, and escalate non-conforming products.
- Complete and review quality documentation including Batch Cards, Quality Notifications, PPAP, PVI, and First Article reports.
- Support QRQC reviews and quality improvement activities.
- Validate delivery documentation and inspection records.
- Support QN reduction and continuous improvement projects.
- Promote a "Stop at First Defect" mindset throughout the business.

- Time-served apprenticeship within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience conducting visual and dimensional inspections.
- Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.
- Ability to complete and review quality documentation and inspection reports.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Desirable Skills
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and PVI requirements.
- MRB Delegation experience.
- Regulatory Release delegation experience.
- Knowledge of customer quality procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Experience supporting QRQC and continuous improvement activities
