Project Engineering Team Manager

Location: Hull, HU8 7DS Our Project Engineering Manager leads a team to seemlessly deliver a variety of projects on time and within budget. They inspire their team to challenge and surpass standards of expectation and flex team resources to changing priorities. You will need to be driven by delivering meaningful change and have strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and manage expectations at every stage.,

• Lead and motivate a team ensuring that their capital projects are achieved on time and budget and meet specification and agreed deliverables.
• Control a selection of the overall Capital plan, financial plan and factory planning, ensuring that commitments made are viable, and completed (Plan, FC1, FC2 and FC3) and delivered.
• Ensure that Internal Controls for Capital projects are followed including Capex, procurement, Post Investment Reviews and asset register tagging and removals are completed to Reckitt standards.
• Manage capital investment process, confirming that it follows agreed process from conception to delivery and ensure delivers projects on time, on budget, to specification and fully delivers auditable benefits.
• Provide overall view of investment plans and that they are appropriately resourced(Internally or Externally) to ensure delivery to internal customers.
• Development of project forecast and financial planning with engineers.
• Manage team to ensure objectives relating to capital and factory support are achieved, including sickness and absence management, complete regular performance reviews and give constructive feedback as needed.
  
  2-5 years of relevant leadership experience.
• At least 3-5 years of first-hand Project Engineering delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and flex team resources.
• Self-starter, able to work on own initiative.
• Flexible to respond to changing priorities.
