We're growing! Thanks to internal promotions, we're excited to welcome multiple new Pensions Assistants to our large, friendly, and fast-paced team at Kent Pension Fund. What You'll Be Doing This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone ready to kickstart their career in pensions. You'll be part of our Pension Administration Team, helping to provide the best-in-class service to scheme members of the Kent Pension Fund. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Handling a variety of administration tasks for members joining, leaving, or currently in Kent Pension Fund
  • Using systems like Altair to process casework (some involving financial data)
  • Communicating with customers and external organisations via phone, letter and email
  • Providing excellent customer service with sensitivity and professionalism

    You don't need pensions experience - just a willingness to learn about pensions and a great attitude! We're looking for people who are:
  • Organised and able to prioritise
  • Clear communicators and customer focused
  • Flexible and team-oriented
  • Confident with IT (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Qualified to GCSE Level 4 (Grade C) in Maths and English (or equivalent), This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification. No recruitment assistance is required from employment agencies.
