We were one of the first secondary schools in Essex to be designated as a training school by the DfE and work very closely with teacher training hubs as part of the Mid Essex ITT. Our school is regularly involved in a variety of extra curricular activities covering all areas of school life. School productions, language visits, competitive sports and music tuition are but a few examples of what is on offer.   We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable person to join our busy Pastoral team. The right candidate will provide support to students and parents in terms of behaviour, attitude, attendance and well-being to enable students to make good progress and engage in their learning.
Previous experience of working with children (11-16) and experience of dealing with external agencies would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent and efficient organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills combined with strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS). They will also have a calm and tactful approach, ability to work to tight deadlines and be emotionally resilient.
