Paramedic

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood a category C Prison located in Wolverhampton. HMP Oakwood is a male prison with a population of 678 males, this is a training prison with a layout of 7 wings. As a Paramedic, you will be covering any patient incidents throughout the prison and also be working out of the Healthcare department. Hours

• 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday service
• Various shift patters between 7am - 8pm
• 3 long days, As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will
• Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
• Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
• Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

• Qualified Paramedic
• Current professional registration (HCPC)
• Proven post-registration ambulance experience
• Evidence of continued professional development
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness

  This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £34,428-41,659 per annum.
