Full Job Description

Successful applicants' appointments are subject to their satisfactory completion of examiners' training/induction programme and will be asked to commit to a minimum of four days' examining each year. The term to be served will initially be for three years. In general, examiners will receive at least six weeks' notice of their examination duties. A daily fee will be paid for examining. Reasonable travel and subsistence costs will be reimbursed for both training and examining.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated dental professionals with experience of education, training or examining to act as examiners for Part 2 of the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE). The Consortium[1] is contracted by the GDC to run this examination., Applicants should preferably be currently engaged in clinical/academic practice and be involved or have recent experience in undergraduate education or dental foundation training.

Applicants must hold a BDS qualification (or equivalent), be on the Register of the GDC and are expected to undertake mandatory training on both Saturday 6^th and Saturday 20^th June 2026.
