Full Job Description
- We want to hire an Office Assistant.
- You will join our friendly Administration Team.
- You should be organised, enthusiastic, and a good team player.
- Our office is busy and fast-paced.
- You will help barristers and clients with day-to-day tasks. Key tasks
- Prepare and organise legal documents.
- Help take papers to and from court.
- Sort and send post.
- Book cars and couriers.
- Print and scan lots of paperwork.
- Set up meeting rooms.
- Answer calls and help at reception sometimes.
- Keep the office clean and tidy.
- Archive files and carry out messenger tasks.
- Help with office events like mediations.
- Lift boxes and move furniture (training provided).
Good at Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). - Nice to have experience with Lex Chambers software and Adobe.
- Good organisation and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Professional on the phone.
- Can work alone and in a team.
- Pay attention to details.
- Keep information confidential.
- Positive, energetic, and able to learn quickly.
- Have a sense of humour., Am I organised and a good team player?
- Can I work in a busy office and keep calm?
- Do I have basic computer skills?
- Can I lift boxes and help set up rooms?
Salary starts at £31,713 plus benefits. - Work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on a rota.
- Get 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and extra days.
- Benefits include travel loans, bike scheme, electric car scheme, and pension.
